Xilence Launches 3 New Notebook Coolers

More than 95% of today’s notebooks have serious issues with staying cool. Xilence is now offering three well-built cooling pads that will silently take care of your mobile computer. There are many problems that can arise from improper use of the mobile computer.

Many users don’t know that there has to be some room left underneath the laptop so that the intake fans have some fresh air to cool the components inside.

Users take the “laptop” moniker for granted and place notebooks on their laps, on pillows or bedcovers that practically plug to intake holes and the device overheats.

Overheating leads to many problems. The components have a shorter working life.

The computer gives out lower performance, as most modern chips start throttling when the temperature reaches a high value.

Sometimes, hot chips like GPUs or chipsets even pop off the mainboard because of the heat and the notebook is rendered useless.

Xilence has two similar cooling pads, the Z12 and Z15. These two look the same, but are targeted for 12” and smaller mobile computers or 15” notebooks.

They come with two 60 mm fans and Xilence claims that they are very silent.

The S100 is a less a notebook pad and more of a notebook cooler as it doesn’t cover the entire back of the laptop, but it only allows the user to raise the notebook off the desk and blows air away from the underside.

The S100 is 32 centimeters long and is a lot smaller than a normal cooling pad thus easily fitting inside you bag.

Pricing is slated at €20 for the Z12, €25 for the Z15 and €20 for the S100.

That’s $25.5 for the Z12, $30.5 for the Z15 and $25.5 for the S100 if American buyers are interested.
