Dreamweaver CS6 Update Addresses FTP Issues

Adobe just released the first update for Dreamweaver CS6, which addresses some critical issues reported by customers.

The problems eliminated in this release touch on Dreamweaver’s FTP function that in some cases failed to complete basic operations, such as connecting to a host.

Apart from FTP-related fixes the new revision also brings to the table better performance with Business Catalyst sites and it makes available a mechanism to open Adobe Proto files. This is a touch app that allows you to create interactive web page schematics and prototypes of website and mobile apps on your tablet.

Available for both Windows and Mac systems, Dreamweaver CS6 12.0.1 also includes some improvements in the Find and Replace dialog boxes.

After installing this update the developer recommends restarting your computer for all the changes to become effective.
