Samsung GALAXY S III Now Shipping with SugarSync Service

Samsung’s Android flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S III is one of the most popular mobile devices now available on the market. The handset is delivered with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system integrated with Nature UX user interface.

Today, the South Korean handset maker and SugarSync, a free service that allows users to access, sync and share their files and folders across all PCs and mobile devices, announced that it has expanded their partnership to offer customers this services.

“Expanding our relationship with Samsung to be integrated into their mobile devices is a natural progression, as this will give Samsung mobile users a way of sharing content via the SugarSync Cloud across multiple devices from within AllShare Play,” said Laura Yecies, CEO of SugarSync.

Starting this month, Samsung Galaxy S III will be shipping with SugarSync free service. Moreover, SugarSync will ship on all Samsung mobile devices that feature the AllShare service.

Those unfamiliar with SugarSync should know that the free service has been shipping on Samsung's AllShare Play-enabled Smart TVs since January of 2012, allowing users to access the SugarSync Cloud from their Samsung Internet-connected Smart TVs.

With Samsung's AllShare Play service, users can search for and play video, photo, and music files easily across AllShare Play-enabled devices, including PCs, TVs and mobile devices.

Keep in mind that given the fact that Samsung has already incorporated the SugarSync Cloud into its AllShare Play service, any AllShare Play user who lacks any cloud storage can easily create a cloud account by signing up for a SugarSync account, which will provide them with 5GB of storage for free.

“We continue to be selected by large global partners including Samsung, Lenovo, Fujitsu, France Telecom-Orange and more to provide the benefits of the Cloud to their users. This integration into Samsung's mobile devices will help drive the continued adoption of SugarSync worldwide,” added Yecies.
