Rambo: The Video Game Now Official, Is Playable at Gamescom 2012


UK publisher Reef Entertainment has confirmed that it would showcase at the upcoming Gamescom 2012 expo Rambo: The Video Game, a title based on the iconic soldier and his adventures.

Rambo was made famous by the array of movies starring Sylvester Stallone, but the franchise has also seen the release of two games, both for old platforms like the SNES or the Commodore 64.

Now, Reef Entertainment has confirmed that it’s working on a new game based on the iconic character dubbed, what else, Rambo: The Video Game.

According to the UK publisher, the title will be playable at Gamescom 2012, where the company will show off an array of details about the project.

“We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August. During this time we have been dedicated to creating a videogame for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle,” said Reef’s Craig Lewis.

More details about the new game are expected to appear at Gamescom 2012.
