Huawei Ascend P1 XL with 2,600 mAh Battery Launching This Month

A different version of Huawei Ascend P1 is about to make its entrance in China. The Ascend P1 XL has been recently tipped for a July release in the Mainland, though there are no details on the exact launch date of the smartphone.

The main difference between the original model and the Huawei Ascend P1 XL is the fact that the latter comes with a high-capacity 2,600 mAh Li-Ion battery inside.

According to Chinese blog CNMO, the smartphone will go on sale for no more than $470 USD (375 EUR) off-contract.

The phone is powered by Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and packs a 1.5 GHz dual-core Ti OMAP processor, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM.

There’s also an enhanced 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls.
