Nintendo Presents 8-Bit Summer Campaign for 3DS eShop

Nintendo has confirmed that it's going to release a variety of retro titles onto the eShop online store for the 3DS as part of a special 8-bit Summer campaign.

Nintendo has embraced digital distribution with the 3DS through its eShop system and quite a few classic experiences came out on the online store, either for all 3DS owners or for the special Ambassadors who got free games because they bought the console before its price cut last year.

Now, a special 8-bit Summer campaign will kick off next month, during which Nintendo will publish a variety of classic experiences onto the eShop, from Zelda to Super Mario Land 3 to Sonic, so check out the schedule below.

The Legend of Zelda (NES) - July 5
Kirby's Pinball Land (Game Boy) - July 12
The Sword of Hope II (Game Boy) - July 12
Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters (Game Boy) - July 19
Tumblepop (Game Boy) - July 19
Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 (Game Boy) - July 19
Sonic Blast (GameGear) - date to be confirmed
Sonic Labyrinth (GameGear) - date to be confirmed
