Blake Lively Doesn't Work Out, Eats Cupcakes All Day


Blake Lively isn't topping just Best Dressed lists these days, but also those for the hottest women in Hollywood and the fittest bodies in showbiz. Her secret for such an incredible figure is cupcakes, it would seem.

The “Gossip Girl” alum can now be seen on the big screen in Oliver Stone's “Savages,” where she plays girlfriend to Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch's small time drug lords.

John Travolta, Salma Hayek and Benicio del Toro also star in the film, which is hailed as Stone's return to form.

Asked on the red carpet what she did to keep her toned, trim figure, Blake shocked by answering that it was nothing special. In fact, her “diet” might be the exact opposite of whatever you may have in mind right now.

“I eat cupcakes and I don't work out!” Blake told Us Weekly laughing.

Not only that, but she didn't even abide by the strict rule that says she must eat her veggies and fruits, and drink plenty of water every day.

“But if you ask me in ten years, I'm going to regret answering that way now... I don't even drink water. It's terrible!” the actress added.

However, if a particular role demands that she be fitter and in better shape, Blake isn't against hitting the gym and even going on a diet.

For the critically panned “Green Lantern,” which is considered the biggest cinematographic disappointment of last year, Blake went through months of intensive training and dieting to be able to do some of her own stunts, as we also reported some time ago.

She worked out with celebrity trainer Bobby Strom, who also oversaw her strict diet.

Strom got her doing exercises focused on core and strength training, so Blake was at the gym 4 days a week for 90-minute sessions of circuit training.

Her diet included “oatmeal with a handful of blueberries, salads with chicken and balsamic vinaigrette for lunch, and fish and veggies for dinner,” and the occasional treat: Greek crepes for dessert.
