According to Verizon, it will take approximately 20 to 70 minutes to download the update, depending on the connection the owner of the phone uses. In addition, it will take another 10-20 minutes to install the Android 4.0.4 ICS update once it's downloaded.

To manually check for the update simply go to Menu / Settings / About phone / System updates / Download and software upgrade 6.16.211.XT912.Verizon.en.US should pop up on the screen immediately.
