Scribblenauts Unlimited Moves to Nintendo Wii U and 3DS

Developer 5th Cell and publisher Warner Bros. have announced that they are working on a new video game in the Scribblenauts universe, called Unlimited, which will be launched on the Nintendo made 3DS handheld and on the upcoming Wii U home consoles.

Scribblenauts Unlimited is set to offer an open world based on the familiar side scrolling mechanics which will consist of 41 levels that are created with hand drawn scenery and high definition objects.

The protagonist of the game, Maxwell, needs to use the core mechanics of the series in order to solve puzzles and challenges.

The developers are also planning to expand the range of objects and creatures that can be summoned in the game via scribbling.

A new sharing mechanics created by 5th Cell will also allow players to share their own unique objects online with others, who can then customize them as they like.

The story of the game will deal with Maxwell’s parents, his syster Lily and the way he managed to acquire his special notepad.
