High Resolution Satellite Imagery from Over 100 Countries in Google Maps Now

Google Regularly provides updated imagery for Google Maps and Earth. There's a lot of ground to cover, so the job is never over.

Google's got some tireless satellites working for it though so there's a chance that the imagery you're looking at is only a few weeks or a few months old.

In the latest update, over 100 countries are getting new images, so chances are you'll find something near you.

There are also new aerial imagery, which provides a bird's eye view and much better detail than what satellite imagery can provide, certainly a much better perspective.

If you're a Google Earth user, you can download a KML file Google has graciously provided and discover all the new imagery.

Otherwise, you can keep up with updates near you or near places you're interested in via the Follow Your World tool.
