Gears of War: Judgment Gets First Screenshots

After showing off Gears of War: Judgment last week during Microsoft’s E3 2012 press conference, Epic Games has now revealed the first set of screenshots with the upcoming shooter, presenting some of the action that will be featured when the game appears next year.

The regular Gears of War series seemed to come to a conclusion last year when the third installment came out but, with Judgment, developers Epic Games and People Can Fly are setting up a prequel starring Damon Baird and Augustus “Cole Train” Cole.

We already admired the first details and a trailer last week, but now the two studios have posted the first images from the game, showing off Baird and the rest of his squad mates fighting against the Locust enemies.

As you can see, Judgment retains the Gears of War visuals style and, while there’s still a grey-focused color palette, it feels a bit more vibrant.

Expect to hear and see more of Gears of War: Judgment soon.
