Facebook for Android Gets Minor Bug Fix Update

Facebook has just updated its Android client, but don't expect any new features or overall improvements that might enhance the application's performance.

Instead developers simply confirmed the latest version of Facebook for Android has just received some bug fixes. Unfortunately, there are no details on the list of issues that have been addressed in this latest iteration of Facebook.

Even though Facebook for Androids is among the most popular apps available for download in the Google Play store, formerly known as Android Market, the software has an average rating of 3.6 out of 5. Hopefully, new updates for Facebook will improve the overall rating.

Facebook 1.9.6 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0.1 and up.
