Best Buy Canada Resumes Galaxy S III Pre-Orders

Last week, the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone was pulled off Best Buy’s pre-order page, all due to overwhelming demand.

On Friday, however, the retailer put the device back on its website, announcing Canadians interested in purchasing the phone that they can reserve units through its stores, before it arrives on shelves.

The pre-order period will end on June 26th, one day before the handset makes an official appearance on shelves in the country, as Samsung announced recently.

The smartphone will become available for purchase through most carriers in Canada, including Bell, Rogers, SaskTel, TELUS and Virgin, and it will be available both in Pebble Blue and Marble White.

Those rushing to Best Buy’s stores to reserve the device will need to drop $50. On the retailer’s website, the new mobile phone is listed at $159 on contract.
