Verizon Readying Software Update IMM76Q for Galaxy Nexus

Galaxy Nexus is one of the first smartphones to be launched to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich onboard. Verizon's variant hit shelves back in November and received a few minor software updates that fixed some of the phone's issues.

However, it appears that Verizon plans to push another maintenance update to Galaxy Nexus devices sometime in the next few months.

Droid-Life reports that an XDA Developer user claims he was able to download and install a new update that features build number IMM76Q.

The person received a notification update this week and managed to grab in just a few seconds due to the fact that it's only 945KB.

There are no details on the changes its bring, but the screenshot reads that this software update includes new enhancements for the Galaxy Nexus. Stay tuned for more info on the subject.
