Verizon GALAXY S III Gets Minor Software Update, Downgrades Search Ability

It looks like Samsung pushed another maintenance update for Galaxy S III. Although the smarpthone was launched on the marekt about a month ago, it already got a few minor updates.

That doesn't mean that Galaxy S III's software is faulty, on th contrary. It appears that Samsung wants to make everything work smoothly.

The latest update for Verizon Galaxy S III is now available for download OTA (over the air) in stages, which means not all users will get it at the same time.

Anyway, aside from adding a new kernel version, this update downgrades the Search capability so users will on be able to do Internet searches.

The same update was previously pushed to AT&T and Sprint Galaxy S III in order to avoid any important bans from Apple.
