Samsung Galaxy S III Receives Minor Software Update in Romania

Made official in early May, Samsung Galaxy S III hit shelves in Romania at the beginning of June.

Although the smartphone comes with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich platform onboard, it appears that Samsung decided to push a maintenance update one month after the phone’s launch.

The update has already been rolled out in some countries, but it took Samsung a few more weeks to make it available in Romania as well.

Keep in mind that this minor update has only 21.56MB and can be downloaded OTA (over the air). Simply head over to Settings / About device / Software update / Check for updates.

According to the official changelog, this update only brings improved stability. If the update is successfully installed, then the smarpthone’s firmware build should read version IMM76D.
