Kickstarter Aims to Bring Mage Knight Online with Revenge

MFV, Inc. and WizKids Games and their owner NECA have announced that they are launching a campaign on Kickstarter, which is designed to bring the popular tabletop game Mage Knight to the online space and back into real-world shops.

Mage Knight Revenge is a designed to offer a tactical battle experience that continues the storyline from the tabletop game, with all the core gameplay mechanics translated faithfully.

The first launch for Revenge will take place online and on mobile devices and the Kickstarter campaign will run until July 31.

Milton Soong, who is the chief executive officer at MFV, stated, “We want to bring Mage Knight back on a new platform. Our goal is to create a fun, polished video game and miniatures line that pleases both existing Mage Knight fans as well as new players — Kickstarter is a great way to gauge interest and receive valuable feedback from the community on the project.”
