Kelly Preston, John Travolta in Scientology Counseling to Save Marriage

Only a short while ago, the tabloids were saying that Kelly Preston had more or less decided to file for divorce from John Travolta, following the intensely mediated scandal on his orientation and his alleged love of male masseurs. She's changed her mind.

The National Enquirer writes in its latest print issue (story via CB) that Kelly has given in to John's pleas and agreed to give their marriage another try.

The two stars are now in counseling at the Church of Scientology to save their relationship, and will most likely also have another child, the tab writes citing unnamed sources.

According to these spies, Kelly has agreed to have another go at the marriage only after considering the implications of divorce – and how it would shame her and the kids even more than they've already been shamed in public.

“Kelly has called off divorce proceedings for the time being after John agreed to follow her rules. With the disgrace she’s endured over his antics, the bottom line is that Kelly is worried a divorce right now would mean even more humiliation for her and the kids,” one of the spies says for the tab.

It's not just that that's keeping her by John's side, another insider explains. They've already talked about having another child, in the hope that it might bring them closer.

Kirstie Alley, Kelly's good friend who is also a devout Scientologist, had advised her to seek Scientology counseling once more and, after all their issues are resolved, to start trying for another child.

Kelly and John have 12-year-old daughter Ella Bleu and a 19-month son Benjamin.

“Scientology therapy worked for them in the past, so Kelly is hoping it holds the key to saving them again. Kelly is willing to forgive but not forget, and she has demanded that John recommit himself to her and their family life,” another unnamed insider adds.

For those not up to speed with the latest gossip, for weeks now, John Travolta has been at the center of a huge media scandal after several male masseurs took legal action against him for inappropriate conduct and harassment, thus reopening the debate on his orientation.
