Dead Space 3 Gets Lengthy Gameplay Video

Electronic Arts and its Visceral Games studio have just posted a fresh and quite lengthy video with Dead Space 3, showing off the new cooperative mechanic that will see series protagonist Isaac Clarke team up with John Carver.

Dead Space 1 left a lasting impression on gamers and its sequel built upon that by taking the adventures of protagonist Isaac Clarke to new heights.

With the third game, developer Visceral is trying to continue the story while introducing a whole new mechanic, in the form of a cooperative multiplayer one.

During the game, which can be played alone, according to EA and Visceral, players can enlist the help of their friends, who’ll control John Carver.

In order to show off this co-op mechanic, a brand new 20-minute video has been posted by the two companies, complete with commentary from Executive Producer Steve Papoutsis.

Dead Space 3 is out in February, 2013. Until then, check out the video above.
