Dance Central 3 Gets Release Date, New Tracks

Harmonix has confirmed quite a few new things about Dance Central 3, its upcoming rhythm game, including plenty of new songs that will be featured on its soundtrack, as well as a concrete release date.

The Dance Central series is one of the most popular Kinect-exclusive franchises, impressing many owners of the Xbox 360 and Kinect with its top notch gameplay and song variety.

With Dance Central 3, developer Harmonix is taking players on trips to the past, including a wide array of songs from many different decades.

We already heard some details about the game back at E3 2012, when it was unveiled to the world, but now eleven new tracks have been presented by the studio to fans, ranging from LMFAO’s Sexy and I Know It, to Backstreet Boys’ Everybody, Los Del Rio’s Macarena, or the Village People’s YMCA.

Last but not least, Harmonix also unveiled a concrete release date for Dance Central 3, which hits the Xbox 360 on October 16, in North and Latin America, and on October 19, in Europe and the rest of the world.
