theIRapp 2.0 Is Everything an Investor Needs on His / Her iPhone

theIRapp 2.0 investor relations app is out for iPhone and iPad with features that engage shareholders and attract potential investors, including a redesigned user interface, push notifications, investor email opt-in, real-time stock price info, immediate downloads of SEC filings and more.

Regarded as the only investor relations app building solution that allows publicly traded companies to optimize their IR content for iPhone and iPad, theIRapp 2.0 was launched during the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) 2012 Annual conference in Seattle, Washington.

The solution allows a company to optimize its IR content so that critical information is easy to view and interact with on the go.

For example, a public company can have its own mobile app ready in only a few weeks at considerably reduced time, cost and effort, by simply providing its ticker symbol and corporate logo.

Some of the key additions in theIRapp 2.0 include push notifications alerting investors when new information is available, investor sign-up for company information, information sharing via social media channels and (of course) email, automated stock price info and press release feeds, SEC downloads, video and audiocast streaming, analyst coverage and events.

Commenting on their new release, Jeff Corbin, co-founder of theIRapp, said that Nestlé, BP, Unilever and Walmart and other "forward-looking companies" have launched their own IR apps, "recognizing the importance of providing investors with information that they can easily obtain and view on their mobile devices."

“Version 2.0 of theIRapp takes mobile investor relations to a completely new level. Now, any company can distribute its press releases, corporate materials, presentations, videos, audiocast conference calls and any other communications content to a significantly larger audience of current and potential investors,” added Corbin.

“And, this can be done at a fraction of the cost a company would have to pay to develop an IR app on their own."
