Star Trek Video Game Might Include Playable Enterprise Crew

The upcoming Star Trek video game from Paramount, Digital Extremes and Namco Bandai is focused on cooperation between main characters Captain Kirk and First Officer Spock, but it seems that the game might allow players to use other well-known characters from the Enterprise crew.

Brian Miller, who is a senior vice president and game producer at Paramount Pictures, told VG247 that, “For us, it’s always been about Kirk and Spock. But we do have some really exciting announcements that we’re going to make about some other playable parts of the game.”

Paramount and Namco Bandai have already revealed that the entire cast of the reboot Star Trek movie will be lending their voices to the video games.

Digital Extremes showed Star Trek at E3 2012, focusing on how Kirk and Spock will join forces, tricorders and phasers in order to battle the new threat posed by the Gorn armies assaulting New Vulcan.
