Realtek 2.69 HD Audio Drivers, with Windows 8 Support

Drivers for Realtek audio controllers have just been posted for download and we have them. With this release, Realtek introduces support for Windows 8.

According to the change log file 2.69 drivers have WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Labs) certification. ALC283 is the latest addition to chipsets list with support for Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Back in April when we announced Realtek audio drivers 2.68, our hopes were for Windows 8 support and now we have it.

Realtek is offering separate download packages for Windows 2000, 2003, XP and Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 (.ZIP and .EXE), as well as compressed packages for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.

We are posting the download links as we speak and urge users to install the latest drivers for Realtek audio controllers.
