No Content Linked Between Utopia and Assassins Creed III

The newly announced Assassin’s Creed: Utopia mobile title coming from Ubisoft will not be linked in any way to the new PC and home console game in the series and those who play it will not get any sort of extra content for the AAA release.

Andreane Meunier, who is a producer working on the entire Assassin’s Creed series, has told Eurogamer that, “There are no links between the games. But the narrative will lead into the AC3 narrative, since it’s a kind of pre-era to the Assassin’s Creed 3 era.”

Publisher Ubisoft has made the comment in order to make sure that it is not facing a backlash from the fan base, which has traditionally been unwilling to play titles on another platform in order to make sure that they get the full experience in a core franchise.

Meunier added, “And of course our main consumer is on the HD market. But you'd be surprised to hear that some consumers of the Assassin's Creed brand have never touched the HD game. We actually have a lot of people who are mostly into the narrative that have read the novels and things like that.”

Ubisoft has not offered too many details on the gameplay that Assassin’s Creed: Utopia will offer, but it seems that players will be able to explore a city and explore a complex puzzle.

The game is expected to launch during December.

Until then fans can look forward to the release of Assassin’s Creed III, which is being prepared for October 30 in the United States and one day later in Europe.

The game will introduce gamers to the new character of Connor, who is half Indian and half British, as he uses his considerable skills in order to influence the events of the American Revolutionary War, while Desmond pushes the entire series towards a conclusion during present day.
