New Super Mario Bros. 2 Gets New Video, Will Support Paid DLC

Nintendo has just posted a brand new video for its upcoming New Super Mario Bros. 2 puzzle platformer that’s set to arrive on the 3DS this August, confirming not just an array of features but also the fact that the it will get special paid downloadable content in form of new levels.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the 3DS is set to appear in August and Nintendo wants to emphasize some of the new features that are included in the puzzle platformer.

As such, a new info video has been released by the company that shows off the game’s new focus on coin collecting, thanks to special power-ups.

What’s more, the game also has a special Coin Rush mode where players need to travel through certain stages and collect as many coins as possible in the shortest amount of time.

This is where DLC comes into play, as Nintendo has revealed that new stages for the Coin Rush mode will be released after the game’s actual launch which players can purchase.
