Facebook Chat Adds Emoticons

Facebook's been around for eight years now. It has close to 900 million users and is a huge hit around the world.

It's been expanding into mobile, its platform being the largest and most used, Facebook buttons are on any site you can think of.

But there was still one thing missing. Thankfully, that's no longer the case. It's been a long and hard journey, but it's been worth it, the Facebook chat now has built-in emoticons.

It's time to pack up and go home, everyone else, face the facts, Facebook won, it's over, it's done.

Of course, the chat already displayed emoticons, as long as you knew the code, but you can now add them via the new button in the chat box. Now, it's not only the hip, cool kids that can use emoticons, everyone can get in on the fun.
