Chloe Moretz Promises a Carrie That Messes with Your Mind

We'll admit it: when Chloe Moretz was cast as Carrie in the “Carrie” remake, we were thrilled – and no, not just because Lindsay Lohan didn't get the part. Moretz is probably one of the most promising, talented young actresses of today.

Proof of that is her recent interview, in which she promises to put her own spin on the character, in such a way as to deliver a film that doesn't feel like just a retelling of the Brian De Palma classic.

“I am changing everything about me – my hair, my look… I’m doing my own take on [the character],” Chloe says.

“The script is totally different from the [original]. It’s more like the book. It’s a more Black Swan version – it messes with your mind. You’ll see things, and you don’t know if you’ve seen them,” the young actress adds.

Kimberly Peirce is directing. Julianne Moore, Portia Doubleday and Judy Greer also star.
