LG’s Optimus True HD LTE is making an official appearance on shelves in the Middle East, starting with Saudi Arabia this week, LG has announced.
The company is looking to strengthen its position on the smartphone market in the area, and the launch of this device is meant to help it achieve this goal.
Moreover, the handset vendor notes that Saudi Arabia is set to become one of its strong LTE markets, along with South Korea, Asia, the Americas, Europe, and the entire Middle East.
The smartphone arrives on shelves with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside, complemented by 1GB LP DDR2 of RAM and 4GB eMMC. A microSD card slot offers support for up to 32GB of external storage.
LG Optimus True HD LTE also sports a 4.5-inch True HD IPS Touchscreen Display on the front, capable of delivering a 1280 x 720pixel resolution and 329PPI pixel density.
On the back, the smartphone packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper, with LED Flash and support for HD video recording, complemented by a 1.3MP front camera, which should prove a great option when it comes to making video calls.
In addition to 3G and 4G LTE connectivity options, the new mobile phone also comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, as well as with MHL, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, and Wi-Fi Cast. It also sports a built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS.
The Android-based handset measures 33.9 x 67.9 x 10.48mm and weighs 135 grams. It is powered by a 1,830 mAh battery, capable of delivering up to 4 hours of talk time on 3G, and 250 hours of standby time.
LG Optimus True HD LTE also offers support for a wide range of applications and games available for download through the Google Play Store, while arriving on shelves with various software preinstalled on it.
