ASUS Custom GTX 650 Ti Specs Revealed

ASUS is getting ready to launch its own original version of Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti video card that will come with an improve cooling system and the new GK106 GPU that also can be found inside all GTX 660 graphics adapters.

The new card will apparently be called simply ASUS GeForce GTX 650 Ti and the cooling system is now named “Dual Fan” instead of the well-known DirectCU II name tag.

On the outside, the card might have a similar aspect, but the Dual Fan cooling solution is only 14% better than the reference cooling from Nvidia while DirecCU II is a whole 21% better than the reference specification.

The GPU will reportedly be clocked lower than expected at a default frequency of 928 MHz while the 1 GB of GDDR5 memory will run at 5400 MHz effective frequency on a tight 128-bit BUS.

The will be four different display options powered by the two DVI ports, the VGA connector and the HDMI port and all will be able to output to its own monitor at once, using Nvidia’s Surround technology.

Pricing seems to be slated at $150 (117 EUR).
