Lenovo Prepares ThinkPad Tablet 2 with Windows 8 and Clover Trail
Powered by Intel’s freshly announced Clover Trail SoC, Lenovo’s new ThinkPad 2 tablet features an interesting 10.1” screen with multitouch support and the latest and greatest Windows 8 operating system.
For buyers that are in for a x86 compatible and well-built quality Windows 8 tablets, Lenovo’s ThinkPad Tablet 2 seems to be the best solution.
The 10.1” screen features a 1366 by 768 pixel resolution and uses an IPS panel with a big battery backing it up for up to 10 hours of local HD video playback.
The gadget comes with two quality cameras. One 8MP camera is on the backside and a 2MP webcam on the front.
The main issue with the new set of Windows 8 tablets is the fact that price wise they are extremely expensive as most reports slate the introduction prices for Clover Trail tablets in a range between $800 and $1000.
Such a pricing range is not going to make Atom tablets popular anytime soon.
