ViewSonic Announces VX70 IPS LED Monitors

ViewSonic is ready with two new IPS monitors. We welcome the company’s products and we’re glad IPS panels are becoming increasingly popular lately. The new products are imbued with LED backlighting and sport a decent 1920 by 1080 pixel FullHD resolution.

The official denomination of the two new models launched by ViewSonic today is VX2770Smh-LED for the 27” version and VX2370Smh-LED for the 23” model.

Both monitors come with a rather mediocre 1000 to 1 contrast ratio and the same can be said about the 250 cd/sqm brightness.

ViewSonic reports a 7-millisocond (GTG) response time, which is quite a lot for the casual gamer and unacceptable for any serious gaming enthusiast.

A high 30 million to 1 dynamic contrast ratio is available and two SRS Premium Sound speakers are present along with audio in and out jacks.

The connectivity is handled by a VGA connector along with a HDMI port and a DVI-D connector that are both HDCP capable.

There’s no info on pricing or availability, but the new products are already listed on the manufacturer’s official website.
