Samsung SGH-I317 to Become AT&Ts Galaxy Note 2

Soon after Samsung made the Galaxy Note 2 smartphone official at IFA 2012 in Berlin last week, users have started to wonder what markets would see the device available in the coming months.

As it turns out, the United States could be one of the first countries to receive it, and T-Mobile and AT&T might be among the carriers set to launch the phone on their networks.

While T-Mobile’s model was recently said to be SGH-T889, Galaxy Note 2 for AT&T appears to have emerged on GLBenchmark as SGH-i317.

The phone was seen with a 1.6GHz Exynos 4 Quad processor inside, a 1280 x 720 screen resolution, and Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform on board.

The model number doesn’t fit, especially with the original Galaxy Note launched at AT&T as i717, but there’s a good chance that this is indeed the newest largest smartphone from Samsung, Phandroid suggests.
