Motorola XT890 Spotted at the FCC, Might Feature an Intel Processor

A new mobile phone coming from Motorola Mobility has made an appearance over at the FCC, with model number Motorola XT890 attached to it.

Rumor has it that the new device would be the first handset from the vendor to pack an Intel application processor inside, yet nothing has been officially confirmed on the matter for the time being.

However, the FCC listing did confirm that the smartphone would arrive on shelves with support for GSM/WCDMA bands, which would make it compatible with AT&T’s network in the United States.

Other specs of this Motorola XT890 device include WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, which might be complemented by NFC capabilities.

For the time being, there’s no telling on whether the smartphone will indeed be released in the United States, nor on when that might happen. Keep an eye on this space for more on it.
