Kubuntu 12.10 Beta 1 Screenshot Tour


Canonical released today, September 6th, the first Beta version of the upcoming Kubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) operating system.

Dubbed Quantal Quetzal, Kubuntu 12.10 Beta 1 is powered by Linux kernel 3.5.3 and is built on top of the KDE Software Compilation 4.9 desktop environment. It features digiKam 2.8, Rekonq 1.0, Telepathy-KDE 0.5 and the latest version of OwnCloud 4.

The Beta release of Kubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) is distributed as Live CD ISO images for the 32-bit, 64-bit architectures.
