iPhone 5 Coming to Sprint on September 21st

Sprint is yet another US carrier which has officially confirmed plans to add the new iPhone 5 to its offering as soon as it becomes generally available on September 21st.

The same as Verizon, the operator will make the new device available for pre-order on its network starting with September 4th, via its website.

Additionally, the carrier confirmed that iPhone 5 would connect to its LTE network, and that users would benefit from Truly Unlimited 4G LTE data, text and calling to any mobile.

“iPhone 5 is packed with amazing new features and we are proud to offer Truly Unlimited data to iPhone customers so they can enjoy everything iPhone 5 has to offer on our 4G LTE network,” said Sprint CEO Dan Hesse.

“Whether it's finding a nearby restaurant with Siri, using Passbook to get organized or surfing the web, Sprint's truly unlimited data plans provide incredible value for iPhone customers, meaning customers can make the most of iOS 6 without worrying about costly overages on their monthly bill.”

Users interested in grabbing the new iPhone model will have to commit to a new two-year contract agreement on a Sprint Everything Data plan starting at just $79.99 with Truly Unlimited data, text and calling to any mobile.

At the moment, users looking to enjoy Sprint’s 4G LTE service will be able to do so in 19 cities around the country, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Waco, Texas.

Additional LTE markets are planned for the next several months, with over 100 markets set to receive the faster connectivity capabilities before year’s end. By the end of the next year, the carrier hopes to have deployed its 4G network nationwide.

Sprint users interested in the Apple iPhone 5 model can head over to the wireless carrier’s website to learn more on the device, as well as on the pricing options that Sprint will have in place for them.
