HTC One X+ Emerges on AnTuTu Benchmark

HTC has been long rumored to be working on the release of a new Android-based smartphone, a high-end device that would become the company’s flagship handset, but nothing has been officially confirmed on it for the time being.

However, more clues that the phone is real and that it might hit shelves in the not too distant future have started to emerge online.

The HTC One X+, as it is called, has been spotted in the AnTuTu benchmark, where it hit an outstanding 14,000 points, courtesy of its 1.7GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor and the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS loaded on it.

Some suggest that the benchmark app might be wrong, and that it mistakes HTC One X for a One X+, yet proof of the smartphone's existence has already emerged. Hopefully, it won’t be long before HTC makes the device official, so stay tuned to learn more on it.
