Boost Mobile has made available for purchase on its network the ZTE Warp Sequent smartphone, a successor for last year’s ZTE Warp.
The new smartphone is available only at Boost Mobile, with a price tag of $200 attached to it, which makes it quite an appealing option for those looking for a budget-friendly smartphone.
For this kind of money, users will get a capable device, courtesy of its 1.4 GHz application processor and of 768MB of RAM that ZTE packed it with.
“Everything's better on the big screen — and this big, scratch-resistant screen delivers. Experience videos, apps, and pictures like never before,” the wireless carrier notes.
The ZTE Warp Sequent also sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for HD video recording, as well as a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front for video calling.
“Capture memorable moments in 5MP detail. Then upload to the web or send them to friends,” Boost Mobile continues.
In addition to support for 3G networks, the new mobile phone also comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, while also packing GPS receiver for navigation.
“Surf the web and get satellite-guided navigation from the palm of your hand. Hop on your nearest available Wi-Fi network to do it all, even faster, with the superior speed of Wi-Fi,” the carrier explains.
“Listen to music and answer calls wirelessly, in stereo, when you pair with a Bluetooth headset (sold separately).”
Running under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the smartphone comes with support for thousands of applications that are available for download through the Google Play Store.
Those of you who would like to grab the new ZTE Warp Sequent will find it available on this page on the wireless carrier’s website.
