New Assassins Creed 3 Dev Video Shows Off Environments and Technology

Ubisoft has posted a new episode of its Inside Assassin’s Creed 3 web series, this time taking a look at the environments and the technology from the upcoming game.

Assassin’s Creed III is getting ready to be released in the following months and, in order to properly show off the array of new features implemented in the new title, Ubisoft has released a wide variety of trailers, screenshots, and details.

Fans interested in the game’s actual creation process were also treated with a special web series called Inside Assassin’s Creed 3, which featured developer commentary about the title’s different features.

The newest episode has just appeared and takes a look at the technology behind the game – the AnvilNext engine – and the different environments that can be rendered by it.

What ’s more, the video also highlights the historical accuracy in Assassin’s Creed 3, as the team has gone to great strides in order to deliver a faithful portrayal of the American Revolution.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is out this October for PS3 and Xbox 360, and this November for the PC and Nintendo Wii U.
