Bank Robbers Throw Cash Out of the Getaway Car to Distract the Police

These men managed to rob the Bank of America and make a lot of bystanders happy, all in one day.

The robbery occurred in Santa Clarita, Southern California, at around 10 AM.

The police pursued the men after they had engaged in the armed robbery and were able to arrest most of them, but couldn't recover all the money that was stolen.

The robbers were driving a black Volvo SUV. As their getaway car exited the highway, they reached downtown Los Angeles and got caught in traffic. In order to cause a commotion, they started throwing large amounts of cash out of the car.

This ingenious plan backfired, as their generosity attracted large crowds and they were stuck. They tried to make their way on foot but police officers caught up to them.

2 of the suspects jumped from the moving vehicle before getting to LA, and are still at large.
