Other News:· On August 24th, Clement Lefebvre, father of the Linux Mint project, proudly announced that the codename for the upcoming Linux Mint 14 operating system will be Nadia. Linux Mint 14 (Nadia) will be available for download at the end of November 2012, and it will be shipped with separate MATE, Cinnamon, KDE and Xfce editions. Mozilla Firefox 15 has not yet been released, it is in Beta state at the moment, but it will bring features such as initial native support for PDF files, support for SPDY networking protocol v3, better performance by enchancing WebGL (including compressed textures), better memory usage for add-ons, and much more.

Review of the Week: Psychonauts· Whenever I start playing a game that was born in the mind of Tim Schaffer, I say to myself “welcome into the world of crazies.” I’ve always said that whenever a game is hard to describe, the developers have done at least something right. Well, Psychonauts is as hard to describe as it gets and no matter how late it arrived on Linux, is still a good thing that it’s here.

The game is basically a simple platformer. The character can perform some simple tasks like running, jumping, double-jumping, and a physic melee attack. Later, the main character will learn a lot more powers, such as levitation, pyrokinesis, invisibility, and so on. Each power will help the main character in various puzzles.
