Ken Segalls Insanely Simple Book on Steve Jobs Reaches New Heights

Publisher entreBOOKS.com has selected Ken Segall’s Insanely Simple book on Apple (and Steve Jobs) as their Book of the Month for August, 2012. The hardcover has received a 4-star “must read” rating from David Shepherd, a 25-year instructor, successful entrepreneur and best-selling author reviewing the best small business books of all time.

Insanely Simple: The Obsession that Drive's Apple's Success has been described as “a terrific book for entrepreneurs” by Shepherd, who advises every small business owner in America to grab a copy.

After naming the book a finalist for their 2012 Best Small Business Book of the year, entreBOOKS.com today is pleased to announce that Segall’s Insanely Simple has received Book of the Month award for August 2012.

After reviewing Insanely Simple, Shepherd understands that “There is no greater threat to small business owners than complexity.”

“And the antidote to that is simplicity, a topic I have been studying at length,” says the entreBOOKS founder. “Insanely Simple takes us inside the tyrannical world where Steve Jobs' wields his ‘simple stick,’ and demands a one button, one box orthodoxy.”

“Segall writes well, and the book is entertaining, educational, and inspirational. It's a must read for entrepreneurs who need to be focusing on their own 'one button' approaches. That's why I'm pleased to announce that it has been selected as our Book of the Month for August, 2012,” Shepherd outlines.

Segall notes in his book that rooting out complexity is harder than one may think. entreBOOKS takes an excerpt from the book where Segall warns, “This means erring on the side of overkill.”

In a chapter entitled "Think War," Segall clarifies that the battle against complexity a never-ending one, which means entrepreneurs shouldn’t think “war.”

“So it must become your nature never to relent… There is no nicking the arm of complexity—you need to blow it away,” writes Segall.
