First Official Look at Carrie Remake: Check Out All That Blood!

Set your calendars for March 2013 because the race has officially begun: though Kimberly Peirce's remake of Brian De Palma's horror classic “Carrie” was first met with skepticism, hype is already building up for it.

Entertainment Weekly has the first photos of leading ladies Chloe Moretz and Julianne Moore in character.

Moretz once said that she would be bringing her own perspective to the legendary character but, if she is, we can't really say from this photo. However, Moore gets tons of credit for the crazy eyes she does to play Margaret, Carrie's religious and insane mother.

“Carrie” will be out in the spring of next year. Keep an eye on this space for the first trailer for it.
