Firefox for Android and MeeGo Gets Updated

Mozilla has made available for download a new flavor of its Firefox Mobile internet browser for devices running under Android and MeeGo.

We’re yet not sure what changes have been included in the new app release, as the release notes attached to it are from last month.

However, on Android, the new version of the software is 14.0.2, and chances are that Mozilla packed the release with enhancements for the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform.

Last month, Firefox for Android got a range of updates that improve the overall user experience on phones, and also tasted a new UI for tablets in the beta channel.

As for MeeGo, no details on what the new update has brought along have been provided, yet Nokia N9 users are already reporting that the update has emerged on their phones.
