Download Audacity X 2.0.2

Audacity, a tool that lets you record and play sounds, as well as import or export various audio formats, has received a major update that patches a truckload of bugs. There are also a few enhancements and new features.

Delivering fixes for the interface, envelopes and clips, effects and analysis, Audacity X 2.0.2 is a must-download for avid users of this freeware audio tool.

The duration controls (when generating at a point) now default to hh:mm:ss + milliseconds format, while the Selection Toolbar also defaults to that format on first installation or resetting preferences.

Some toolbar and visual improvements are to be had as well. For instance, the "Snap To" in Selection Toolbar now has an explanatory tooltip and Device Toolbar tooltips now display the selected device. Also, the default width of Device Toolbar and Meter Toolbar has been increased.
