Comic-Con 2012: The First Trailer for Oz the Great and Powerful Is Here

Fans of a good fantasy film got their fix the other day at Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, where Disney premiered the first official trailer for the upcoming “Oz the Great and Powerful.”

You can see it in full below, embedded at the end of this post.

Starring James Franco as a carnival magician who accidentally ends up in the magical land of Oz, the film also stars Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams.

It is directed by Sam Raimi, he of the original Spider-Man trilogy, and boasts a producer who also worked on “Alice in Wonderland.”

“Oz the Great and Powerful” will be out on March 8, 2013 in 3D and, by the looks of this first trailer, it will be totally worth the premium ticket price.
