Yerba Buena Banners Hint at Taller iPhone 5

By now, Apple has finished decorating the outside of the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in anticipation of Wednesday’s press gathering for the iPhone 5 unveiling. We’ve issued our own speculative take on the colorful artwork used to pimp out the venue, but one MacRumors reader has been even more observant.

In fact, it would be almost impossible to interpret the signs any other way at this point.

Have a look at the comparison between the color stripes and the iOS icons just underneath them. It’s not a “stretch” to assume Apple is hinting at the elongated screen of the iPhone 5, is it now? The purple iTunes icon hits you right in the face. Game Center is also pretty distinguishable.

The iPhone 5 is said to sport a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 1136x640 pixels.
