Twitter Drops Option to Choose Anything Else Than Twitter Photos in Mobile Apps

Twitter's got a brand new look, well an updated header and a new header image to go along with the new mobile apps, but the updates also come with a few changes. And, as Twitter has made it a habit lately, they're not for the good.

The new mobile apps, at least the iOS, no longer allow users to choose the photo storage provider they want when uploading photos along with a tweet.

Users only have the default built-in photo sharing option, which is Twitter branded but powered by Photobucket. If you prefer yFrog, TwitPic or anything else, you're out of luck.

The mobile apps used to offer options, in the settings page, on photo services with yFrog, TwitPic, Mobypicture, Twitgoo, Posterous and img.ly being supported. That's no longer the case.

Twitter has been pushing people more and more towards its own products and pushing developers away if their apps pull users' eyeballs from the official Twitter site or apps.
