Nokia City Lens Comes Out of Beta

Owners of Nokia Windows Phone devices can now download and install the final flavor of the Nokia City Lens application on their handsets.

The app was made available for all Lumia owners a few months ago in a beta flavor, and it has just been pushed to the Windows Phone Marketplace.

The augmented reality application can be used to display restaurants, stores, and other locations, as well as important information on each of these places.

The app takes advantage of a handset’s camera to deliver this kind of information in an augmented reality style, though it also enables users to view these details in a list mode, or on the map.

The new application iteration can be found in the Windows Phone Marketplace via this link. It is available for download as version 1.1 for all Lumia handsets.
