Download Toast Titanium 11.1 with Mountain Lion Tweaks

Toast Titanium, the ultimate media toolkit for OS X users, is now fully compatible with OS X Mountain Lion (and several of its key features), and supports recording to 100GB and 128GB BDXL media, says Roxio.

Toast Titanium 11.1 adds Mountain Lion compatibility and implements Gatekeeper support. Gatekeeper is a security module in Mountain Lion that allows users to select their preferred method of installing software with an eye on malware.

Toast Titanium further adds support for recording to 100GB and 128GB BDXL volumes, as well as hundreds of changes and fixes” implemented as a part of re-coding the app in Cocoa.

Mountain Lion users will need to update to the incremental 10.8.1 from Apple to publish videos to YouTube (no explanation as to why this is necessary), and Safari is now required to capture web-video. Finally, YouTube users may need to OPT OUT of HTML5 Trial, says Roxio.

The supported input formats for audio include AAC, AIFF, MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC and Dolby Digital AC-3.

For video, Toast Titanium supports even more extensions, including AVCHD, AVCHD Lite, AVI, DivX Plus HD, DV, FLV and F4V for Adobe Flash, MJPEG, MOV, MKV, MPEG-1/2/4, VOB, VIDEO_TS folder, EyeTV recordings, TiVoToGo transfers, and even shared iMovie projects.

Supported photo standards include BMP, GIF. JPG, PDF, PSD, PNG, TIFF. If you’d like to open a disc image with Toast, you can feed it anything that has the ISO, BIN/CUE, IMG, DMG, CDR, NRG extension.

Minimum system requirements include a Mac computer with an Intel processor, 1 GB RAM (2 GB RAM recommended for Pro), OS X 10.5 (Leopard) as the minimum OS spec, around 1GB (5GB for Pro) of free space to install all components.
