Dishonored Gets First Animated Prequel Webisode

Bethesda and Arkane Studios have started releasing a three-part prequel series for their upcoming Dishonored game, showing off the history of the city of Dunwall through a distinct hand-animated style.

Dishonored is set to deliver an intense stealth experience with steampunk and supernatural elements sprinkled heavily over its open world.

We have already learned much about its gameplay and its protagonist, Corvo, and now the two companies behind it have released the first episode in a prequel series that shows the history of the city of Dunwall, where most of the game’s action takes place.

Animated by Psyop largely by hand and narrated by young actress Chloe Grace Moretz, the first video is quite impressive and shows how one of Dunwall’s greatest industrialists unknowingly helped the city become a violent dystopia.

Check out the video above and look forward to the release of Dishonored on October 9, in North America, and October 12, in Europe and the rest of the world.
